Extra Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of the second unit of its 30.17-metre Extra X99 yacht model. Set to feature an exterior design and engineering by Palumbo Superyachts’ technical team together with Guida Design, the 150 GT Extra X99 yacht will be ready for delivery in 2022
Interior designers Luca Dini Design & Architecture aim to create a modern style with maximised interior volumes. The second Extra X99 yacht will feature a 65-square-metre cockpit, a transformer on the deck and a sundeck with a living area with two C-shaped sofas, a dual-mode dining table and bar counter at the astern galley. Two opening balconies have also been integrated into this area.
Compared to the first hull, the second Extra X99 vessel has a new configuration in the main saloon which houses an eight-seater dining table as well as an L-shaped sofa. Her lower deck will include one VIP cabin forward and two double cabins with twin beds, all with private bathrooms. Amidships, she will have a full-beam master cabin with a bathroom completed by a walk-in closet and sofa.
When it comes to toys and entertainment she will be home to a Jacuzzi, two Jetskis, a Williams 395 tender with side garage, a transformer and side balconies folding down into the cockpit.
Her planing hull and superstructure in GRP with carbon reinforcements are combined with twin MTUs of 2,600hp and hydrojet pushing the model to a maximum speed of 34 knots. She will also feature solar panels for her environmentally-minded owner.
