Cuneo Marine

HUTIANE was built (all the aluminium part) in Cuneo by the first owner who then sent her to Sardinia (where he lives) for completion. She has a boat of waterline length of less than 24m. This hull length was defined at the start of the project. This is a one-off custom-built maxi catamaran. Like all shipyards, Cuneo Marine worked with subcontractors specializing in nautical construction from the Italian Riviera specializing in the construction of custom-built boats. The Builder was the first user, the second is the present Owner. Hutiane has been built with the high quality construction. The second (and present) Owner purchased the Catamaran in 2014.
Originally a 3-cabin version, in winter 2015, the Owner’s cabin on starboard side and a guest cabin on port side where fitted.
After, which, the yacht was fully repainted and coded for charter.
In 2017, the generators where replaced by the current larger 27 kW KOHLER (new) C HULL, MACH are the Commercial (Charter) Classifications granted by RINA & BV, certifying her high-quality construction in hull and machinery and also ability to operate as Commercial Vessel.
Y refers to the vessel being fitted with automated installations enabling machinery spaces to remain periodically unattended in all sailing conditions including maneuvering.
UNRESTRICTED NAVIGATION means the vessel is built to operate in any area and any period of the year.
The Main Sail and the Genoa are 1 year old, the staysail needs to be changed.
The whole rigging was checked and fully serviced this past winter 2020. The skipper confirms having taken force 8/9 with normal behavior for a 110-ton commercial catamaran and a mast designed to avoid overturning. Speed easily reaches in moderate weather 8/10 knots, and 14 to 15 knots in strong winds.
