she is a 40.41 m / 132’7″ luxury sailing yacht. She was built by Perini Navi in
2001. With a beam of 8 m and a draft of 3.44 m, she has a steel hull and
aluminium superstructure. This gives a gross tonnage of 210 tonnes. She is
powered by MTU engines of 469 hp each, giving her a top speed of 13 knots and
a cruising speed of 11 knots. The sailing yacht can accommodate 9 guests in 4
cabins. The yacht was designed by Perini Navi. Ellen can accommodate up to 8
guests in 4 cabins, including a master suite, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She
can also accommodate up to 6 crew members on board for a relaxing luxury yacht
experience. Timeless design, beautiful furniture and sumptuous seating create an
elegant and comfortable atmosphere. She has been expertly maintained and
received a complete overhaul in 2015 with new sails, fresh paint on the masts,
superstructure, hull and bottom. The bottom and internal tanks were sandblasted
to bare metal and recoated. New teak decks were also installed. All systems were
replaced or serviced, including hydraulics, winches, HVAC, refrigeration, NavCom
and A/V. Complete starboard gearbox maintenance (bearings, seals, oil changes,
philtres, etc.) and regular port side maintenance completed. The AC unit was
replaced. Charts and radio have been checked and updated. All safety equipment
has been checked. The vessel will receive an aesthetic refit in 2020.
