This particular model is the Austrian shipyard’s flagship yacht. She is built as the most spacious three-deck solar-electric catamaran on the market. Designed and built by Marco Casali and MICAD the multihull features sleek and sporty lines with large windows.
Catamaran open deck
The solar yacht has a distinctive flybridge equipped with horizontal ventilation grilles inspired by supercars. The 80-foot ATRAVERSIA catamaran also features an impressive 90m² (970 ft²) open deck that sets her apart from her competitors. This space is a vast open-air saloon with a fully equipped bar with kitchenette and a jacuzzi on the aft deck.
Even when the sun shines only faintly through the cloud cover, ATRAVERSIA offers the ultimate solar-powered yachting experience with its 60 m² solar panels and (equally innovative) towing kite system. ATRAVERSIA is the future of environmentally-friendly yachting, combining the quiet cruising of a sailing yacht with the luxury of a motor yacht.
The 80 ‘ catamaran has two E-Power engines. KRAUTLER SOLAR 340 kW each (456 HP) with shaft and propellers. The ecological catamaran has two Diesel generator of 150 KW each with 429 KWH Lithium battery pack. Plus 429 LWH solar panel. Her cruising speed is 6/8 knots and her max speed is 18 knots. She has an transoceanic Altantic range.
